Your images show a missing detail from many of the previous images.Sector Size must be 2048. Mac defaults to 512 even when you switch from HDD to CD. Think it's a bug in the GUI tool for the Mac. Happy tinkering everyone!

Thanks for the offer of trying to get it going for me. I will try it all again tomorrow... Rewriting the SD, swapping the PAL, checking continuity of my jumpers as well as the PAL jumper, reseating the boards again, then PM you about setting something up.

Can you also suggest a format? Fat32 or exfat preferred? Thanks. I will try a 4gb card in my setup too, to eliminate any variability. When I was having issues with mine, I did buy a 4gb, class 4 microSD.
