I rescued a 2 C-CRX and ROM board (HotD, I think) from a recycler last week. Visually it's in good shape, except that cap C47 is missing off the mainboard - it's the largest electrolytic (at least going by the silkscreen) toward the center of the board. There's evidence that wires have been soldered to the holes where the cap once was, so my only theory at present is that the original went bad and the only replacement that someone had nearby was too large to fit, so they off-boarded it.
I'm sure the board has other issues, because otherwise it wouldn't have been recycled in the first place, but I want to replace the missing cap and try powering things up to see where they're at.
