I couldn't find a case for this open source project. So I made one.
Snap together because i don.t like how screws look. Not sure how well the led tube is positioned it works ok on mine but I used really old SMD LED's I had on hand, other designs may need a slight adjustment. The tube is designed for 4mm flex pipe but works without faintly. The pipe should run the whole length of the tube and sits just below the hole on the top. If anyone has problems seeing the LED let me know and ill relook at it.

OK here is another one this time for the snes to neo adapter. This one will go through a version change at some point but for now it is doing the job well enough. The logo and light pipe solution is a little ugly. the original idea was to print it using the AMS system but I realised that the way I wanted it the AMS would need to have 5 colors and mine only has 4. The next step is to break it up into a top cover, a top cover circle insert and 4 colored logo parts that can be glued together. I am really unhappy with the texturing of the logo circle and breaking it into 5 separate parts should fix this problem also. It can be printed without supports with the bambu X1 and creality K1c but it is pushing the limits of both and you end up with small imperfections near the light hole where the support layer fell away. This dosent result in print failure only an even more ugly surface inside the circle. Printing it with basic supports on the build plate only fixes this but the texture is still really ugly. Functional but I am not 100 percent happy with it. If you do print one keep an eye out for an updated version sometime in the future.

I have also considered ways to make these a little more stable when plugged. Maybe something like PCB feet. Having a supergun, adapter and joystick plugged is a little unruly and having a more stable solution would be good, but I have not been able to work out the best way to do this. Any ideas on this would be appreciated as well as opinions on how much of a problem this actually is. I only really use the minigun and these on my test bench, so this observation has come mainly from playing on friends supergun setups.

Nice! The print quality (and speed) of those new-generation printers is just stunning - its a great time to be a 3D printing enthusiast :)
