I have been messing with getting a bunch of games running on the 5987 daughter card and the first batch all used the same size roms so the jumpers are all the same.
Then i got into a different game (Hammer Away) on original hardware and the jumpers are way different.
The only difference I can see in the roms on Hammer Away vs. SD or MW is that it uses a different amount AND the sound rom is JEDEC 27c020 instead of non-jedec 27c100 but there were a bunch of different jumpers between the two.
I was hoping someone could explain to me what the jumps do and how they may change when I get to the next game (Desert Breaker) which has a bunch of different sizes, but I believe all JEDEC.
Any help explaining is appreciated.
