To upgrade to the 7800 gs AGP, can it be any card? or does it need special bios? I did see a card with bios 5.70 but that is about it.

You can use any 7800 gs AGP if you use an multi ;)
Plug and play?

I heard conflicts that outside of the AGP 7800 that has the Sega BIOS, no other AGP 7800 would run. If I find a cheap one in the future, I will buy it and try it out.

There is no "Sega" bios. They locked it to a specific bios version, it has to be 5.70, not 5.71. You can't downgrade it either because 5.71 versions of the card are a different GPU version.

So any 7800 agp that has the 5.70 works then right?

Sorry on late replay here. If you have 6 series card, most likely your game software is only going to allow that card to work. Such as with Lets Go Jungle and some HOD4, there are different versions of software that allow different cards. When I change out a 6 series for a 7800, if Lindy won't see new card, I reinstall from disc I have that supports both types cards. These two games are the picky ones. Other titles I have not seen too much difficulty with...as far as video cards go.
