I am trying to communicate between two MODEL2PCBs (Virtual-ON), but what kind of wiring is required at this time?
The V-ON's PCB has two fiber optic ports: TOTX and TORX.

I only had one audio optical fiber cable, so I tried various things, but I couldn't connect the V-ONs to each other.
The TEST menu is divided into MASTER and SLAVE.

You need both ports, one is the transmitter (TX) and the other is the receiver (RX).

One fibre optic goes from board 1 TX to board 2 RX.

The other goes from board 2 TX to board 1 RX.

thank you!
I see, that's how it's connected.
In other words, two fiber optic cables are required.right?

In that case, there aren't enough ports for games that connect three or more devices (e.g. Spike Out), but what should you do in this case?

Two fiber optic cables is enough for two boards. In case of more boards, you make a ring.

So as an example, for three boards it goes like this:

First fibre optic goes from board 1 TX to board 2 RX.

Second goes from board 2 TX to board 3 RX.

Third goes from board 3 TX to board 1 RX.

I was surprised that they would make such wiring!
thank you for teaching me!

Curios to know if you got them to connect? I had trouble with my Virtual ON, and ended up replacing one of the network cards to get them to work.

Yes, I was able to link it without any problems.
MODEL2's PCB is very old, so the ports may be broken.
