I've made some recent attempts to resurrect one of the two PSU's in my ID3 cab with no success.
- Recently replaced all the caps & followed w/solder joints confirmation vs the working one. There was one broken trace that had been previously repaired & looks good.
- Fuse is OK
- Some continuity checks. My hands-on experience with this stuff is limited so I've only checked what makes sense to me.
When plugged in there's no output, LED or fan spin-up. The only thing worth noting of my continuity checks is that the VR1 dial does not appear to have continuity on the dead board (it does on the live). I'm not sure this would impact the fan/LED unless it being broken cuts them off entirely. Anyone have any further suggestions? I have started looking at replacements but asking for the sake to improve my electronics troubleshooting.
