So I got a Sega I/O JVS PCB(838-13683-02) that works with a (SP5002-A) Toshiba tmp90ph44n chip. Well I burned out the chip trying to make a 6 pin JST power plug for the I/O to hook up to my Sega power supply and because the info on the Naomi stuff is very minimal and my skills, I ended up hooking the wires wrong and popped the chip with to much power I guess?. I'm not sure what the hell I'm doing here and it is hard to find good info or good help in understanding what I'm doing here, if there's any easy ways to replace this chip. It would help me out.
Is this chip common?. Any idea's for a fix or replacement for a Bad Toshiba tmp90ph44n (sp5002-a) chip?
I'm looking for just the chip to plug in to the socket as the JVS PCB board looks good to me. If I have to just buy a replacement Sega I/O JVS PCB from eBay I will just trash this board if I can't fix it. It'll be a waste but when there's no parts there's no hope, I don't have any experience in repairing Roms or programming or reprogramming any hacker stuff. A good YouTube video with step by step guilds and I can fix the hardware but that's about it for my knowledge when it comes to arcades and PC.
let me know soon if there is anything I can do, but if not I will just trash the PCB and just get a replacement on the 1st of the month and be done with it.
Thanks for any help or ideas Jamie.
