anyone know a place that repairs naomi boards that had the cap splatter

http://www.irepairsega.com/

Ken is the only person i will send my stuff to. He used to work for sega for years, and is a wealth of knowledge. He also has an insane turn around time. I once sent him a naomi board that had the cap blow and take out a bunch of trances, he received it repaired it and had it back in the mail on its way back to me within the sameday.

He currently has 2 of my naomi boards he is repairing, and just fixed two of my tri-force boards.

I also highly recommend Ken. I'm taking 3 Naomi boards to him for repair in the coming weeks. He already repaired a Triforce and hooked me up with an Ocean Hunters ROM board.

Good dude.

Ken is good dude. He's answered many of my technical questions and I don't think there is anyone outside of Japan that knows Sega equipment better.

I just talked to Ken on the phone because he finished fixing my naomi board today. Told him about this forum, he pops on KLOV every now and again, so he said he would poke his head in here too when he can.

I'm here. First post. Yes I can take pretty much anything Sega from 86 up. Some older items I'm iffy on but for sure from Model 2 up thru Lindbergh I'm good.
Welcome to our forum finally, Ken!

If you feel like it please introduce yourself at the top of the main page. You've helped me quite a few times over the phone (as well as fixing a few Naomi pcbs for me) especially when I was picking your brain while buying equipment for BGA repairs for Hikaru pcbs. I'm sure you won't remember since you have so many other things going on.

Wanted to give a shout out to Ken. his awesome work got 2 naomi boards repaired and got my spawn game working.

I can't praise Ken enough. He is one of the most knowledgeable Sega tech in the world but he is a hell of a guy always willing to give advice. It takes patience to deal with us hobbyists and he does it with grace.

Ken is awesome. I had him repair an ID3 card reader that wouldn't print with known working thermal heads. Turned into a long awesome conversation about Sega and all sorts of things while he worked on it. Great guy!
