Please help me get the final PCB I need for my collection. There haven't been any for sale in a minute, but I also know these things come in waves and once I find one there'll be a stack for sale like every other big PCB I've thrown down on.

Check my VAPS as I might trade something if that's your thing.

BTW, I missed this one for $120, 19 years ago... ;)

Well, to be honest Excellent Com didn't always have stock of titles they had prices for. I actually found that same price list in my emails. I sent Fannie a reply on May 19th asking for Bee Storm and Soul Calibur II. She replied back with "Sorry we don't have Bee Storm in stock , how about the other I have Martial Master". So yeah. Didn't buy anything.

Batrider popped up in a Tops email too, same month and year. 44,100 w/ artwork. They were already expensive back then.

The "hobby" has definitely gotten ridiculous. In my search and reading forum posts from a decade ago, I realise prices were around 10-30% of what they are now! Not only that, but there wasn't a line of people hiting F5 with PayPal accounts ready to transcat within seconds of posting. Sometimes coveted PCBs sat for sale for a month before someone even showed an interest.

I passed on a minty Battle Bakraid: Unlimited Version on eBay BIN shipped to Australia for $850 USD which I considered a ridiculous price, and that was around 6 months ago. Now I can't find anything but WTB posts. Did some cool kid influencer do one of those "hidden gems unported game" videos for this recently?

There seems to be a recent trend with shmups for people to "complete collection" which causes unnecessry hype. Too close to baseball card collecting for my liking.

I have skipped or sold Batsugun, Zero Wing, Sorcer Striker, Truxton/Tatsujin, Pink Sweets and many other "certified classics" which would complete collections or get closer to completion for me, for the simple reason I don't gel with them or really don't enjoy playing them. Boogie Wings / The Great Ragtime show is on the chopping block for the same reason. I've been trying to like that game, but in all honesty outside of the "wow I can suicide and ride a motorcycle, holy shit, look it's an elephant, let me pick it up with my plane", that game kinda sucks. But I'm giving it another month to see if I can find something in me to master it. I really wish people were possibly more honest with their gaming tastes over their "gotta catch 'em all" mentality.

Please stop gripping and start flipping my ninjas. Free this one game from your shelf so it can hit my Jamma Edge :)
 
@AlxUnderBase did he have one listed publically? If so, it's gone. Also @CFO, $1500 USD is a *RIDICULOUS* price for this. It's definitely been sold much cheaper over the past year, twice on eBay. With one sitting for a couple of months until it was discounted by the seller "gamedigga" when it finally moved.
 
I paid $400 USD for Batrider "B Version" PCB last year with original artworks in perfect condition.

Not really here to discuss prices of games or your purchases, please take it to the Price Check or Recent Finds thread.

This is a WTB thread. Thanks always for the help people, I feel I'm getting closer to my quest (fingers crossed).

I snagged a Boogie Wings again ... but the price stops me to think about if ( if someone want ig to pay over 1500€ + shippings & customs ... i can point him :saint: )

The price of that one keeps on going up it seems. Glad I snatched the one you found for me last year.

If I can only find a Bakraid now! The last deal I had fell through because the PCB became faulty when testing (thankfully).
 
Thanks for always looking out @AlxUnderBase — it will come around, no one really cared about that game for a long time. It was always the bastard of the Yagawa trilogy. I’m happy to wait patiently for it. Batrider B is 10 times better than Bakraid anyways.
 
I've been looking for a Bakraid for a while myself. It definitely seems to be the rarest of the Bat trilogy - I've only seen one pop up for sale in the last year, but someone else beat me to it. Hopefully we'll both be able to land one! :thumbsup:

I've got my eyes out for you too. Right before I seriously re-added this to the wants list (just over a year ago), there were two on eBay for just under/over $1000 USD. They sat for literally months before anyone bought them too. They seem to have gone for a while now. I've seen this happen with other boards, out of circulation for ages then there's a flood of them. Same thing happens with Muchi Muchi Pork!

Thanks to all the good people on this forum who kept their eyes out for me and sent me leads.

I managed to nab a nice one with arts from member of these here forums.

Looking forward to uniting the Yagawa trilogy and playing them back-to-back soon :)

Contrary to most of people, it is my favorite of the bat trilogy.
