I'm currently running an Axunworks CBOX, with an OSSC via VGA into an LCD TV. The picture looks good with the only issue being low volume. My questions are,

1) is this a safe and/or common setup?

2) what can I do to fix the audio issue?

3) what can I do to improve or otherwise "optimize" the setup?

And of course, any other specific information that would be useful I can provide.

The OSSC should have an option to raise and lower the volume in the settings menu. You will need to use the OSSC remote to access the menu and turn up the volume

What board are you using? Is the volume pot on that turned up as well? (If it has one)
