Hey guys thought id show my biggest project i took on here
Earlier in the year here in Melbourne i had the opportunity to get my hands on a holy grail of mine the covenant BIG BLUE DYNAMO usa import
For those who dont know these are the cabs capcom went with for their official streetfighter games aswell as others it was my chance to finally have my ultimate SF machine this is how it came a old beat up golden tee but i knew what it was and it had the infamous hilarious dynamo label still on the back
first thing to be done was to fix the top right hand side corner so built a frame measured to opposite side and filled it with builders bog n then shaped it to suite which i then sanded back filled any other dent in aswell whilst i was at it
next thing was to clean out the internals to get it ready for wiring
This particular cab was made for SF2CE which came without the qsound amp after looking online abit I decided to opt for a decent set of logitechs (z533) to go in its place instead running the rca to the cps2 board so i took out the olds and hot glued the logitechs in place you would never know that they were with the big black metal plate covering em up
Ok so cleaned and gutted out what was left behind inside I decided to go with a RT-85A Meanwell powersupply from digikey and a 500w tortech isolated 110v Stepdown
It was a hard decision to decide what to do with the sides whether to leave , paint or vinyl , I ended up going down the vinyl route and boy am i glad i sure did i went with hecis supatacs5000 S293B a tiny bit brighter than stock but it came out great
