Hi!
I bought a modified MV1FZ from an Italian guy, and it arrived just yesterday. The problem came when I connected it to my RetroTink 5X Pro, as with different settings I only get a black screen (except for the very first time I connected it, when I got a green screen).
I've tried both the Triple Buffer and Gen Lock options, modified the colorspace, tested all SoG Threshold values, and the screen is still black. I've noticed that when I lower the SoG Threshold to values like 40, the Status screen on the RetroTink shows most values fluctuating slightly above and below their usual readings… Can I interpret this as confirmation that the NeoGeo is actually sending a video signal?
The latest change in my testing is that when I connected it to a TV via SCART, the TV detected that something was connected, but there was no image signal. After reconnecting it to the RetroTink 5X Pro, now it doesn’t even show any signal detection, so I don't even get a black screen.
Is there any test I can do to check if there's another issue I might be able to fix?
