What's new
36200 Yen for stools + 71000 Yen to Ship. I'm in the Anaheim area. (733.22 USD total according to Google)

It will be some time though before I pull the trigger on 4 more.
No worries, maybe we can open the order to others in LA to possibly save some money. I'm in no rush, just let me know when you decide to pull the trigger. I'm in Burbank.

Got Batman connected. Some of the sprites shift ever so slightly not sure what’s causing that graphical glitch. I have Relief Pitcher coming next from Atari I want to test to see if I see anything similar.

I bought some replacement noctuas for VF1 and VF2 cages. I am confused where you plugin the fan connector on the stock fans.

I was also wondering if I went lazy mode and powered the fans with a external USB hub would VF1 and VF2 not start because they do not detect the stock fans plugged in? Thank you!

Got my Arthrimus v2 installed! I think that fixed my issues with player 2. Fingers crossed my Naomi 2 / Dreamcast NNC is finally complete! (Well I gotta apply new side stickers but getting close!)

Need some locknuts to secure the additional fan. Not really impressed by how much air actually gets through the perforated holes. But if that’s how Sega intended it I’ll give it a try. I like the hole that is cut in the model 1 cage for the fan.

Was hoping this was a Rev B board but I might try swapping it with my other Rev B board into the cage. Kinda nervous will break something pulling the board away from the filter board. Probably just try to enjoy revision A for a bit.

Turned things on and got red lights on the board but haven’t connected to my cab or jamma harness yet. But looks promising so far.

Looks like there is hella room inside to mount them. I would always prefer internally mounted fans where possible.
Good idea I’ll probably try that out. Trying to think of how to feed the cable out from the inside though. Maybe just not sliding the top lid all the way back if there is a little gap or somewhere else im missing. Need to take a closer look.

when you mount inside the case there is a small height difference so only the bottom screws will go in. If i mount outside only the top screws go in. airflow didnt seem to be much different mounted either way so i will probably just mount externally.

Got some new blinds to keep the sun from beating down on the machines but they didn’t make the top one as a top angle shade so waiting for them to send me a replacement.

Switched out the customs from Relief Pitcher into Batman using an IC extractor tool. Both games still operate. But no improvement on Batman or issues with Relief Pitcher after the swap. I am thinking recap would be the next thing to try but that would be a first recap i've ever done. Not sure how many that would be and the difficulty.

Removing the sound boards to get to them took forever cuz of all those pins and being apprehensive about cracking the board using too much force.

I thought VF2 was 24 kHz? I connected it to my Astro 2 (ms8-29fsg) and getting the image split thing. I thought this cab / monitor supported 24khz. Am I missing a dip switch on the chassis or the game PCB?
