Blood Bros is sensitive to voltage?

Hi, I want to ask a question. I have got a Blood Bros board which has a particular issue. When powered up, if the voltage on the jamma pin when turned on is above exact +5V, the game freezes randomly.

But if I put the voltage to exact +5V or below, the game works perfectly. I don't know any more cases about this game. Maybe the TAD customs are sensitive to slightly high voltage? I don't know if this is a normal situation on all Blood Bros boards.
 
So you’re using a multimeter to read voltage off the JAMMA edge? If the multimeter is working properly then that’s the correct method to check voltage.

Most boards have a tolerance of +/- 0.1V but some are more sensitive to that range.

Yeah, multimeter on the jamma edge when the board is powered on. I want to know if this is a normal issue on Blood Bros.
 
One of the customs on our Blood Bros has gone bad too, most backgrounds are incorrect and/or missing a color bit layer, some of the palette animations stopped working (most notably the big river level the river is gray and not moving) and... yeah... the blanking output is stuck, resulting in a black screen unless you short that pin to whatever other logic level turned the screen back on.
The video address counters seem to be voltage sensitive on ours, meaning the graphics will get more corrupted with less voltage, but temperature seem to have more effect on our machine than voltage and I couldn't get it to crash no matter what I set the voltage to.

In short: These custom ICs suck.
