So even after shaving off one of the legs, (I shaved off another one which was for one of the screws so I need another case, that’s my fault) anyway even with that it still doesn’t fit in the case. The cord for the lcd is hitting the case so it won’t fit. Is there another cable I can get or is there something else I can do to make it fit?

I file down the black bracket that holds the cable. If you shave off a little it should fit. Be careful to not damage the cable.

Remove the top clip of the cable.

I was able to do that and now for some reason my kit isn’t working again.. I hope that I didn’t damage anything trying to get the case on.

Nope the pins are just touchy. I had to press down hard. So when it’s in the case even on the bottom it doesn’t get a full connection. I have to press down kind of hard for it to work. Maybe I need a new A board soon or something.
Edit: When I have it bare and I push down on the pins it works perfect. I’m kind of at a loss here. Lol

the wrong leg you shaved off is a support to properly press down the pcb in case. This is what probably is causing your connection issue when in the case.

To confirm, with the cps2 case off it works right?

Correct, so what you said must be right. In that case I might need to buy a new CPS2 case from someone after all. I accidentally shaved off a leg for one of the screws. So that’s probably why.

I do not. ;( Eh it’s okay, the inside of the bottom case was falling apart anyway. And I found another one from someone in a group I’m in.
