I wouldn’t trust that to give you an accurate voltage reading. Invest in a good multimeter, (heck, even the cheapest multimeter will be more accurate than that voltmeter) and learn how to use it and it‘ll easily become your most used and valued tool in your arcade toolkit.

Some multimeter features you should seek out:
  • Digital display
  • Auto-ranging
Fluke multimeters are widely considered the best by a lot but those will cost you $300. Here is a very good one that will serve you well for $60. Im sure other forum members have good recommendations.
