Or at least in my opinion. I may be cheaping out here, but if my wife finds out I paid more than $150 for one (1) let alone $300 for two (2) stools for my hobby, i would soon be visiting a shallow grave.

I came across this ottoman on Amazon, and seems to size up to what the stool sizes are from Japan. Best part its only $29. Also don't be fooled it's not a huge cushion, only probably .5" is cushion on the top.

I think the bottom rack will give you better stability. You need something on those two open parallel sides.

Looks good though, I like the dark brown option as well.
