Can't start SF3:4th strike arrange edition

So I acquired the cps3 with the ultrasimms.
Everything works except for
DIP 000 street fighter 3 4th strike arrange edition

My bios cartridge says ultra bios on a beautiful label and I read the note in the directions.

PLEASE NOTE: Street Fighter III: 4th Strike an other mods will only work on Standard SHD 2 carts/repro carts and not with "custom" carts.

How do I know if I have a custom or standard or repro cart?

Standard/repro cart means it has a standard SH-2 CPU rather than the custom version with encryption keys that Capcom used for CPS3

Your cart has a custom CPU - you would need to have the CPU replaced on your car or get an already converted or repro cart

You can tell yours is standard because it has the revision label that Capcom put on their CPUs and the soldering has not been reflowed

Yup, that's right - if the cart has a sticker on the CPU then it's a Capcom CPU and won't run hacked games.
