Clone a backup of a Lindbergh CF card

I searched for this in the forum and couldn't find anything.

Is it possible to image/clone a compact flash of a Lindbergh to make a backup, in case it goes bad?

you can probably unlock it with linux and if so - copy it with the DD command to a file.
it may already be done - there are some in mame.
