Franco and myself have come up with replacements for those plastic caps which are usually missing from CPS 1.5 games. The colour match is as good as is available from the wider RAL set, they fit slightly loose (as is the case with originals depending on board), and they should be held in with a couple of drops of adhesive on the side - I recommend the white 'school glue' as that doesn't bind to the plastic and can be easily peeled/washed away.
They're £10 per set of 4 plus postage, and they look like this (same board different lighting):
