CPS III - Mysterious wire

I see some boards have this, some not. What's the purpose of this wire? Is this some kind of individual fix for the PCB issue or stock solution made by CAPCOM?

I dnt know the purpose but this is stock for sure.

Not sure what it’s for but definitely factory

Some revisions of CPS3 have a small PCB added from the factory as well

Only revision 4 boards didnt have jumper cables, all other ones do have.
