Well, it got here!
Now to wait patiently for case/add-on options to become available and then arrive, before I put anything together......

Yup, even if you don't want to mess with dip switches, there are three of the finest arcade beat'em ups ever made available on CPS1.5 that don't use the dips.

No fun in that bro, the kit is fully functional right now I suggest you give it a play.
Its very easy to assemble/dissemble, don't let that prevent you.

If you understood the state of my office, my current project list, etc.....you would get it.
I'm just now getting to hooking up the discovery kit to flash my cps2 multi for key writing, and making progress on a NAC that I've had for like 5 years.

Time moves the same here, its just that the projects creep along at a sloth-like pace.

Sometimes I’ll burn hard to finish a bunch of projects on my task list, then boom! Another big project falls in my lap. Like my last Astro City get. I wasn’t planning or searching for it. It just kinda happened. That week I was working through my backlog too.

This hobby is an endless stream of to-do’s.

Yeah, and then imagine working in the industry full time.
You leave your bench at work, throw your tool bag over your shoulder, and come home to the same stuff you left at the office.

I love my games, I love the hobby....I just have to be careful to avoid burnout both professionally and at home.

Make that three of us. I've had projects in my house ongoing for now five years. The pandemic kind of hit a pause button on everything for me, then a torn rotator cuff completely put everything on hold. My Dynamo HS-5 is now apart as I try to figure out where to put all three boards, the switcher, and the different switches, etc.

Huh... Thats some bummer time suck stories guys.
When I got my tracking number confirming delivery day was Tuesday, I took the day off from work (called in sick) told my girlfriend I had plans and couldn't see her.

Yea LIFE WAITS FOR ME when I want something, I do not accept NO as an answer/completely clear my day just to play a game zero fucks.

I was #8 on the wait list and some weeks passed before I got my shipment notification. Today was delivery day with the window for UPS was as follows:

Of course, UPS shows up at 6:20pm. But I have it now in hand. On a side note, my buddy who was like #1000000000 on the list ordered from HSS after me and got his same day. Oddly enough, we both got the Qsound chip.

I’m really curious who’s going to be the first non-qsound recipient.

Mine should be here on Friday, fully expecting to get an FPGA due to how late I ordered but not the end of the world because it's just sound stuff and I've never been one to stress about audio (everything mono, don't mind stuff like stock Aero speakers that lots of people say is unbearably bad) so I definitely won't notice a difference
