I recently bought a cheap CPS2 B-board with the intention of using it with the Darksoft Multi. The game is Capcom Sports Club. It works fine, seems to be a phoenixed board. Very good condition overall.

However, when I received the board I noticed it was heavier when compared to my other CPS2 boards. So I opened it up, and it has two PCBs. I don't know much about CPS2 hardware, so can someone explain what the second board is for? Is this still suitable for the Darksoft Multi?

Also, looking closely on the top green shell, I see another sticker under the CSC sticker. Looks like Marvel Super Heroes. Is this a factory conversion?

It's just a rom board. some of the CPS2 games have them. You can just take it off and save it somewhere in case you want to deconvert.

Great. Google didn't give me much info about this romboard, but now I know this game will work with the Multi. Thanks.
