Hi guys turned on cab today no image, tested on other board fine, removed cart garbled screen displayed. Cleaned cart contacts moved mem around gave it another clean no joy. Can a darksoft cart go bad? Any advice would be great cheers.

It would more likely be the cartridge slot. They can get really finicky at times.
Give the cart edge another serious clean with isopropyl and a qtip and insert and remove a few times. I’ve had something similar happen before.
