I thought I'd share a small design I made to add support under the CPS3 pcb in the JasensCustoms case (also confirmed by @mR_CaESaR to work in the TR Fight Stick case) to prevent damage from PCB flex when inserting the cartridge. Hopefully it can help others who have this case as well.
The solution I came up with was a standoff/support that is attached to a few spots underneath the PCB with two-side mounting foam (in the blank ground plane areas, not on top of traces). The corner standoffs in the JasensCustoms case are 24mm high, I designed these to be 22mm high, with the foam tape providing the extra 2mm. These were designed so the wider area of the support is on the PCB side to give a larger support surface area to prevent damage, as well as the foam on top serves to keep the supports in place but also cushion impact from pressing the cartridge onto the cart slot. In the attached photos you can see the areas where I attached the supports - that may vary depending on your revision but most likely it will be pretty similar.
Feel free to let me know how this works out for everyone and go ahead and remix this however you need. I know some have the TRFightstick cases, I assume they may need a different height on the supports (Edit: confirmed to work, see below). I'd love to see other's who have a different solution as well.
