Cps3 working with second impact but will not work with darksoft super bios cart

Good evening everyone,

I have a working cps3 board that plays fine with second impact. I switched to a darksoft super bios cart and loaded third strike... it boots to the region select screen but when I click any region it goes to a black screen. I get a no signal after that.
Oh I also am running a sd cart instead of a disk. I have tried UniCD-CPS3_for_standard_SH2_V4_Unmodified and UniCD-CPS3_for_standard_SH2_V4th Strike. Both software load just fine but both go to a black screen after region select.

Is there something I'm missing?

The cartridge sticker says Custom SH2. download the cd for custom sh2, you said you tried both discs for the standard sh2.

That was in fact the issue. The sad part is the is the second time that has messed me up. I get it backwards for some reason....
