Hello

I wondered if it was possible to create an HDMI version of this I / O Board JVS Link

My idea would be a PCB version like the original one but with an HDMI
output to carry the Audio, Video, USB & Power signal in a single
HDMI cable .

And to be able to make the PCB in the format of the trap from behind with the output HDMI

I find that there are too many intermediate cables at the back of the Cab .


Not very practical to dust when must move the Cabs .


With this type of HDMI configuration is Plug & Play

What is the point of the original board? It looks like it's just a pass-through for everything.

It is.

It's there to split video, audio and 5V & 12V for the IO board in the slave cabinet. I use mine for 4 player Naomi games like Power Stone 2 and WWF Royal Rumble.

Too many cables outside the cab to my taste

An optimized version would be welcome for wiring only 1 cable would be welcome Question Practice, Estetics.

I would not try to power an IO board over a HDMI cable.

Other than that I don’t see an issue in letting VGA, analog audio and USB signals run through 1 single cable

So this could also work with a hacked up VGA cable, might be easier than HDMI and had enough wires as well.
