Hi everyone. Have any of you deferred to a consumer crt to substitute for a monitor that has gone out? What are the pros and cons of such an option? I’m checking to see what are repair options where I live once I get an arcade cabinet, and I am trying to think about potential plan b and c (lcd/led/oled). Thank you for your time.

If you're thinking of just using the TV tube you'll need to match the inductance/resistance of the yoke. Have a look at this.
