Open your wallets. Count your dollars. And y'know what? Why don't you just put them back in your wallet. A very free, very open source, and probably very late Christmas gift is coming to the community.

And it will be available for each and every one of you. No secret handshakes required, though some assembly will be.

If anyone asks you for $3000 this holiday season in a back room deal you're not allowed to talk about (and it isn't a sex worker), you look them in the eye and tell them "NO! I want it FREE!".

Patience is a virtue (and one I'm particularly not good at practicing), so we will wait. Because I am still waiting on my package to ship so that I can verify everything works splendidly and upload something sorely missing in this community to github!

Unfortunately part of the secret handshake is having the 3k in your hand, and then when you're done your 3k is gone.

So I can if you really want? But it would absolutely be against your best interests, lol.

Honestly I was working on a much more complicated design, then found out about folks selling a mostly working project for big bucks, so decided I'd throw an "it works" simple solution up for free so people don't have to support that sort of thing unless they REALLY want to. It's good for the community to have options.

And unlike the handshake boys I can do it in the open because there is literally no money involved. Plus, I can add features and change it over time as I feel like working on it. Or people can make changes to it themselves since it will be open source and available on github (with the caveat that it's not commercial, even small scale).

I figured I'd be pretty up front with what it is now that I've heard and seen the other option from ten different people now. It's hardly a secret any longer. Hopefully they don't wind up in legal trouble.

Like I said, this is an "it works" barebones version, but some time down the road next year I'll put in the time to make it a full production quality product. Still free on GitHub, but much nicer.
 
Gonna wait on that connector as we don't know if the footprint will match what is intended. Getting exciting though.
 
Wait.. I know I'm thick but what is this after all? I didn't see any hints so I'm in the dark as always
