So I just got a new cart for my Sega Naomi, Virtua NBA. I noticed the resolution on my Naomi was set to 15khz, I then realized I could enjoy my game in 24khz being that my monitor supports both. So I decide to attempt to change the resolution on my monitor by switching the jumper on the chasis from low to high, I then set my Naomi's res dips to mid and got a garbled image when I powered it back on, so I located the HH 24 pot on the chasis and adjusted it until i got a more stable image, but the image displayed doubled at best. I then looked up this issue and eventually found someone mentioning switching the jumper to high. I foolishly figured it was possibly the white cable from CN506 that I also needed to move to pin TPE which is right next to the high jumper. Big mistake as when I powered on the cab a loud whistle like sound came out, I then quickly powered off the cab. I reversed everything back to how it was originally set and now when I power on my cab I get sound but no image. Incredibly disappointed as I pretty much messed up my own chasis by doing this without being 100% sure of what I was doing. Any idea on what I can try next in order to resolve this issue? I checked the fuse on the chasis and that checked out fine, I also noticed when I power on the cab the neck on the monitor is not glowing. All bad, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Naomi doesn't support 24k.

In connecting the N/W jumper to TPE you may have damaged the HOT, or the protection circuit. TP3 connects to U501, and I believe is supposed to be a test point for checking the protection.

That signal runs down by U550 as well, which may have become damaged.

Well that explains the image being all doubled looking when I switched the Naomi's dips. Not sure how I mixed that up, it's 15k and 31k that it supports. Seriously my brain is still all foggy from having Covid19 just a few weeks back, this totally sucks. So I just located U501 and U550. What would I need to do next? Not sure where to go from here.
