Damaged Screw MVS cartridge [Closed]

Greetings comrades,

Any recommendation for dealing with a rusty screw on an MVS cartridge?

Tried WD40, but the screw head is almost gone. Put already some hot glue and gummy, but that one b**** is stuck as it was welded.

Dont want to damage the cart plastics of course...

I would let it soak in white vinegar for a few minutes, use a rubber band and wriggle the screw both ways without strong turns.

Left handed drill bit on reverse…
Could also try putting a rubber band at the end of the screw driver, should give extra “grip”.

Tried that also.. forget it.
Finally i had to cut through the hole and extract the screw. Plastic was completely "melted" and therefore glued with rust between the two sides.

It was doomed from the beginning. I'll just change the case.
