Parting with a Capcom CPS3 JAMMA setup which has been modified to run Darksoft’s UltraBIOS (Custom SH2 CD version). Cart is original Capcom CPS3 plastic & has an original 3rd Strike label as it originally came from Capcom.
CD drive is a super reliable NEC CD-3010A correctly jumpered & runs/loads games without any issues. Cables are brand new 50 pin SCSI & custom molex 4 pin power cable. CD inside drive works with the Custom SH2 UltraBIOS & is the “unmodified” ISO version, meaning the splash screen you see at startup does not contain the Darksoft logo.
This setup comes with 5 of 6 original Capcom SIMMS (2 x 64 MB; 3 x 128 MB), with one 128 MB SIMM in slot 3 a repro.
This setup has been thoroughly tested and played through & there is no chip overheating, sprite, or ram/rewriting errors when operating. The motherboard & components are also super clean (all connectors have received a thorough deoxit-type treatment). Additionally, the motherboard has been serviced to reliably last a lot more years & function 100% with the following upgrades/replacements:
Setup comes preloaded with Street Fighter 3: Third Strike Revision A; see pictures for a time lapse of the board booting up and installing/running Third Strike showing full functionality from a fresh install this evening:
Please know what you are doing & run with the correct voltage (at least 5.00V) when powering this in your cabinet or supergun.
