For sale are one of each color Super Famicom. They have a custom cartridge opening that allows both SNES and Super Famicom games to be played.

Also comes with a new Power Supply and Gamebit screw driver.

I have one of each color ready.

If you don't already have an SNES. Buy mine and enjoy the best of worlds. The system accepts SNES controllers as well.

Does not come with the video cables.

EDIT: Purple SOLD, Clear and Smoke still available

EDIT: I have new batch of shells and they come with some gorgeous transfer decals. Each letter is its own adhesive and gives the console a nice look. Both the Smoke and the clear have been upgraded for free as a bump incentive

I'm interested in adding an SFC to my setup, but am unsure with revision I want. What CPU is the mother board, are they cleaned and recapped? Need to know whether it's compatible with the incoming DIY edge engancer mod kit, or I should settle with a 1CHIP.

They are compatible with the edge enhancer mod. They are 2 chip models. The smoke is SVHS sound.

The clear is sound integrated.

I will be getting a few cap kits in so I would recap for the price of the cap kit. Right now they are tested, cleaned, and shelled.

Just my two cents as a guy that had owned just about every revision of the SNES there is at one point or another along with a 1000 line BVM, 800 line PVM, OSSC, and Framemeister running on medium-high priced Sony Bravia OLED. The mb you have is not THAT big of a deal as far as picture goes. I don’t know about you guys, but when I play Link to the Past, I don’t put my eyeball two inches away from Link’s center mast. Sound difference will be negligible unless you have a proper high-end stereo (if it’s sold out front, it ain’t it).

That being said, if you can find a better revision at a good price then why the hell not. These two units are definitely worth buying and @hoagtech was a standup guy when we did business in the past 😎

Just buy a SNES and play it.

These RGB influencers really done fucked up the game and peoples priorities when it comes to “gaming” for real.

Anyways. +1 for @hoagtech one of the best sellers/buyers on this forum. If it was closer I’d grab that clear on in a heartbeat. Nice prices.

Thanks as always @djsheep . It's certainly less noticeable on a CRT. The sharp pixels from an upscaler show the bleeding effect more on an LCD IMO
I have a Framemeister but used it as more of a novelty to play old game consoles on a modern TV. Guess I’m just spoiled having a few PVMs and CRTs.

It’s convos like these when I wish jassin were still around :)

I do the same. Sold the Framemeister but still have the OSSC. It’s pretty much just used for SNES or Genesis as those are the “crowd pleaser” consoles for my family and friends (we are all late 30s/early 40s). Much easier to have everyone looking at a 60” screen versus 14” 😆

100% unless you are feeding it to a giant projector, the quality is near the same.

Way less so on a crt.
All snes Jr are 1 chip, and there's a mod to add back s-video and rgb to them.

There's even an optical audio mod if you want the best sound.

The edge enhancer just brings the minimal blur in line with almost a 1 chip.

So with that coming, choose the one you like best, or is most convenient, add it if you need it, don't if you are happy.

Snes and genesis are very high quality libraries and some of the most affordable considering console cost and everdrive.
