DJ Boy and Blast City woes

Posting on behalf of a friend, and a real weird problem.

Got a DJ Boy PCB that works in every cab except the Blast Cities. They've got 2 Blasts, and neither one will it finish the boot process 9/10 times (gets some way through the garbage screen initialization, but doesn't finish). Works in several other cabs just fine 20/20 attempts though. Works fine on his HAS too.

Anyone else happen to have a Blast and DJ Boy and also have issues? Or not have issues?

Haven't seen it mentioned before - the 3.3v pot on the blast PSU actually adjusts the 12v output as well, at least on mine. Had an issue with Rally Bike not wanting to start in my Blast but worked fine in the Astro, low 12v was the culprit in that case

Voltages are fine. Tried from 5.00 to 5.11, no dice. 12 reads good, but I suppose it can't hurt to see if bumping it up a tad helps.
