I got a point blank 2 with sound issue and I suspect it’s an issue with the sound rom. Just out of curiosity, I had a dead tekken 2 pcb, took out the sound rom and placed it in the socket where PB2 sound rom goes. As funny as it sounded, the sound no longer locked up. I say it’s an issue with the sound rom because there seems to be some damage on the jamma connector ( ground pins were burnt) and some components seem to be shorted out. Does anyone know if it’s possible to burn a new sound rom and does anyone do that service?
