granted I am showing console hardware vs a pcb but in the past I’ve mentioned it in repair videos.
I get a decent amount of emails asking how to repair trace damage / if I repair hardware damaged due to leaking caps. I tell everyone...check every six months and catch it before it gets bad! Maybe six months is optimistic but in general it’s more to help people get in the habit of looking for issues before they are a disaster.
Probably common knowledge round these parts but if it helps even one person catch a bulging capacitor before it bursts...awesome
