Hello,
You allowed me to repair the audio sound of my Sega "Hang On" with the file 315-5103 converted to GAL.jed burned on a GAL16V8D!
Big thank you ... It is impressive the work you do!

I've been trying to fix my "Hang On" for a long time!
There are still problems with the 315-5120 "CK2605 in IC 126" because I don't have the motorcycles!
I'm trying to figure out how to convert PAL to GAL to do all the others, but it's difficult for me! ..
I am wondering if it is possible to convert the 315-5120 to a GAL.jed file for the GAL16V8D? or some other solution that allows to make a new 315-5120?
I ordered the ATF16V8 chip to try to burn the file PLS153 315-5120.jed I would see...
It's great to see enthusiasts who save the heritage of arcade games who have entertained us and who still fascinate us!

there is old dos software to convert pal's to gal's
PLS153 needs to be converted with a bit of software from charles mcdonald. (plad)
https://www.jammarcade.net/pls-to-gal-adapter/

about the plad archive, i modified the source and built a Linux version to go with the win version! :)

The PLS153 is not a PAL but a PLA (Programmable Logic Array), it has a different architecture. So you can't use PALTOGAL to convert it to GAL but you need to disassemble it (with JEDUTIL or other tool) and then manually recompile the equations (like Apocalypse did)
Just to carify that the dump of this '315-5120" is actually from Porchy so credits must go to him.

Thanks for the information, it's a little clearer to me! I will try to convert the PLS153 "315-5118" and "315-5119".
I don't promise to get there on the first try! ..

Thank you Apocalypse.
It's great the motorcycles are here now. But the motorcycles were in a mess of colors because of the 4 TTLs "74LS194" in IC59, IC60, IC66 and IC67 which join the
PLS 315-5120 in Pin 15.
Lots of Fujitsu on my broken pcb, if not almost all !. .
Finally, everything is working fine now! That's great!!.
I will try to do the other PLS to archive them in case they break.

Good news! I finally understood with "PALTOGAL".
I managed to make the PAL16R6 (315-5107 and 315-5108) and it works! It's not that complicated when it's understood!
Now I have these 3 files in PLS.jed below that I would like to convert to GAL.
If I understand, I have to use "plad"! But how? and on what operating system? Linux-Wind2000-Wind7-Wind10?
