Dynamo HS-27 (GT 99 to Naomi !)

Randomly browsing FB Marketplace and not finding anything, I started looking up Golden Tee cabs in hopes of finding some conversion in a good cab for cheap..

And nothing. So I randomly typed in GOLF GAME on my way to getting up and walking away to do stuff and sure enough, this showed up for 80 bucks, listed only as "GOLF GAME"

Jumped on that REAL quick. And the gal was super cool, she helped me load it into my friends Tahoe

One of the things I love about the HS-27, aside from monitor size, is that the panel is wood. So much easier to work with.. Had a sheet of birch left over from bass bins, and a friend of mine to it to a friend of his who has a wood shop and had him clone a bunch of these cuts off the GT panel that was on there.

Just figured, use up the whole the sheet and I'm sure someone out there might want a blank to work with who doesn't have access to a shop / woodworking stuff.

Got the JVS from @psychicdrive and amplifier from @DJLC

We test fit a Naomi in there and know where it needs to be set. Can't go in the base of the cabinet, because it's completely unreachable. Got sticks and buttons in there now on the new panel.

Raised the monitor to the upright position and saw that we now have this big gap to take care of, which also holds the glass. So reproducing that part also.

Test fit before drilling and then painting but this is exactly what I need. Cut it perfectly.

Another body part that needs done. When this was converted to a home use machine, there is this big steel plate over the front, which you can see from the first image (listing photo). So no coin door, threw an old one on there for now. But also have this giant opening which I am assuming was a bill selector at one time.

I will have to measure it and see if I can't throw a bill selector on there to fill the gap. Otherwise it's patching.

CP currently. Waiting on laser cutting place so I can put acrylic over the CPO. Not really needed, it's super tough stuff. But still want it.

Annoying thing about this picture before anyone starts wondering, this perspective, makes the buttons look like they are locked into each other LOL

They are spaced better then they look..

So it's coming along. More to do. Still need to get the Naomi and NetDimm setup. Front panel stuff and acrylic. Not too bad!
