looking for an egret 2,3, or 29 in playable condition and complete (idgaf if parts r repro or has a aftermarket psu). this is a SERIOUS offer. US only for now, please.

i stream and use all my cabs quite often. this cab will be used extensively. very passionate about owning one and using it.

thank you @thomas3184 and @ItsBobDudes for your input . he has been pinged and if he has one available im sure he will see this post. im not gonna pm anyone unless they offer to sell first. it only pisses ppl off. if anyone has one they can PM me with an offer. i am very enthusiastic about getting one of these cabs but im not going to annoy ppl who want to be left alone, which seems to be a common theme amongst egret 2 owners, and i cant say i blame em.
 
The Egret 2 is functionally the same as a New Astro City, but it's built up such a mystique that you get threads like this, where collectors throw out cash offers above the already inflated market price to try and attract sellers.

This is literally 10x what I paid for my NAC.

I feel bad for anyone trying to jump into this hobby now. Hope you have a fat wallet.

I understand it's functionaly the same as at least 4 of the cabs I currently own. I know the price is higher than what it's supposed to be. None of that matters to me, as this is what the cab is worth to me. I want to make a mini Taito Station to go along with my mini Sega akihabara, and I want to play on this cab . I like the look of it, Id like to play all my Taito games on it, and I want to stream on it. Just be happy I only put 5k down cuz I'm willing to pay more. Just trying to show my interest without completely fucking up the market. Also would be interested in an egret 29 for same price.
 
People do have fat wallets. Can’t help it, people want what they want.

You can make make more money, can’t make more egrets….or can you? Gotta approach the 9k to start repro initiative.
 
I also like to look at the bright side of things. If I were to get an egret 2 or egret 29, someone new to the hobby will be able to buy my aero city, further helping our hobby grow, and someone will be getting my pretty soldier sailor moon PCB and will be creating a dedicated cab for it. As crazy as a price I'm willing to pay, lots of good will come of it.
 
You don’t have to go trying to justify it. That just sounds random. You want something, you have money. One is not for sale, you still want it, you keep offering more money till it’s not worth it anymore.
 
As for the plans outside of the cab, I have reached out to the sailor moon buyer and he has backed out, so I get to keep my sailor moon which is pretty dope, and I have a local friend who has first right of refusal for my Aero. Keep an eye out. Never know what u might find these days on the east coast.
