Iv been working on a solution to incorporate the Zaparoo from Wizzo into my Egret II to make for a more seamless and user friendly experience when playing Mister on a cab. I wanted to be able to access multiple games without having to navigate through menus or open up the cab or the control panel.
What I have come up with is a modification / remix of this design: By Wizzo
It mounts securely by sliding in place underneath the control panel instruction strip space. No bolts or additional hardware required, just one USB cord to route. Outside of cab looks completely stock.
All you have to do to load a game is slide one of your NFC cards onto the Instruction space where the NFC reader is located and your good to go. This is a matter of preference, but I prefer to change the settings to "hold" instead of "tap" so that it will also boot back to your main Mister menu when you remove the card.
If there is enough interest, I'll do a run of these for other members. It will include:
-PN532 V2 NFC reader
-White case for mounting onto control panel
-6ft White Braided USB cable
-Snazzy Instruction Strip Arts to show placement for tapping cards
