ESR help needed. Recapping PS2 CPU.

I just started using this ESR meter again and was finding fault in a PS2 Phat power board.

I didn't see my capacitor values listed on this Worst case ESR table.

I have x4 680 UF 35V volt capacitors in circuit and am confused on value threshold of ESR I should be looking for?

I looked for expanded worst case ESR tables and found nothing.

Can someone elaborate the correct process of using ESR on values not listed?

Anything over .1 will be bad for 680. Also, you will need to take them out of circuit as it will read them incorrectly.

A good meter will also show the capacitance value. That can also help decide if its bad. Sometimes there is some life left if capacitance is good but esr is out of spec. That but visual if needed.

I was using it as an in circuit test before I wanted to remove them. All four 680 show a similar value so it seems like a good sign. Im hoping I can get power.

The $13 power board replacement is tempting but I really want to fix this issue instead of discarding it.

Sometimes if they are in series you will get skewed results. Like say filter caps.
