F zero ax deluxe error 31

So I just bought an f zero ax deluxe , and it has some issues , no monitor , so I connected the game board to a vga pc crt that do 31khz , and the game board (Sega Triforce type 3 ) doesn’t show anything, black picture even though there is power
So I bought another Sega Triforce board and now there is a picture but it shows error 31 , checked the manual , tried messing with the network setting , now thing , so does anyone know how to fix error 31 probably?

Have checked the jumper settings on Triforce to load from GD-Rom or Ethernet, whatever matches your setup?

That's what I was going to say. You need to have the first dipswitch on SW1 set to OFF if you have a GDROM drive connected.

Update , I switched the dips to off , now it shows error 01 (This game is not acceptable by the main board)
I didn’t mention this before but, when I got the cabinet , the Sega Triforce board wasn’t showing anything on display , so I bought another one from China , and I think it’s Japanese ver
And mine was USA or export I’m not sure
So might the Sega Triforce isn’t booting with the gd rom because it’s region locked , no idea
Is there any other modification can be done to play the game ?

The disc shouldn't be region locked. I originally had a Japanese F-Zero that I converted to Export just by swapping the motherboard region.

Can you take a pic of the disc that you have?

Does it try loading the disc to the memory when you boot it up? If it does that, take out the dimm memory and clean the edge connectors.

An update , so it worked , ok not 100% sure what I have done , cleaned the gd rom laser with alcohol , SW1 is on and SW2 is off , game worked , but unfortunately, steering is functioning well
The seat hydraulic ,gas and brake aren’t working at all
So it seems , I’ll be tearing it apart , clean it , check why the gas and brake aren’t working
