What feels like a year or so ago I bought 3 games from @Hammy. He lives in Europe and I in the US. He asked me for an amount for shipping which I feel was on the high side, but I agreed. He mails the three games, very poorly packed, with very limited padding between them in a box just big enough to hold them. Also, the shipping was about 40% less than what he charged me. The games arrived slightly damaged (it's been a long time, but I think a cap or two got ripped off).

He apologized about everything and I asked him for a partial refund (just for the shipping) and he agreed when he could get some cash to send back my way. This never happened and I was honestly going to just post the above about our trade. However...

He did have a Judge Dredd PCB that he made, and I wanted it. I asked him about it, he was willing to sell, and we made a deal for a fair price, including shipping and he mailed it to me.

It has arrived, much, MUCH better packed than the first three games, and his communication was good throughout.

I post this story because I want to be honest about our transaction, and to put that I AM satisfied with it. Ultimately I rate his sale a positive because I got what we agreed to and he did his best to make up for the initial issues.

I would buy from Hammy again, but I would definitely remind him to pack well before closing the deal out!

Yes, and if I wasn't clear above, his price for the Judge Dredd was discounted for the initial shipping overcharge. So when I say fair price, I mean lower than market value, but fair for the two deals.

Hammy is really cool. I got a few bootlegs he repaired. I keep the videos of the repair and practice me some good english accent :)

I'm a very busy guy and got sick family to look after so not the quickest sometimes.

All money from board sales goes more or less immediately onto undumped boards or 'lab running costs'
Such as: Solder etc, namco projects, posting chips / boards to specialists such as Caius/Caps0ff/Clawgrip/TeamE etc for reversing...

Refunding is no problem but it requires me to sell another board of good value in order to do it.

English post is also very unpredictable on cost, all shipping costs are guessed from previous times and not calculated.
Any shipping damage etc can be sent back to me for repair that's no problem.

The only outstanding problem is @archimage 's Xain'd Sleena that i have repaired 2 times and he has repaired 2 times...
The thing is CURSED, but we are on the lookout for another bottom board for him.
