Final Fight CPS1 problem with sound effects and musical mix and overdrive

Hi!

I have a problem, the sound effects of the whole game mix with the intro music, everything is mixed and saturated.

The motherboard has a new capkit without dry welds, everything has been redone.

This worked fine, until i used the rom card of it, to test another motherboard.

when i put it back with the original i had this problem.

Maybe the Z80 or the faulty Oki chip?

Long ago I fixed a FF romboard that has issues like yours, found a couple broken joints on the CN1 connector iirc.

^That. I've repaired quite a few A board sound issues by tracking down floating connections. Cold solder joints once or twice, but more frequently it is severed traces, the cause of which cannot be found and have to be repaired with wire.
