I got a Finlux CRT from a friend to be a backup TV for my retrogaming. I have a similar one already with the same tube (Philips A66EAK071X11).

I started it to test it but it only gives this horizontal line :/

I could not find the schemantics for this model (SN71V1) but what I googled about there might be a problem with the Vertical transistor which should strech the image?

I opened the whole thing and cleaned it and tested that connections from yoke to chassis were fine with multimeter.

But without schemantics it pretty hard to tell which chip is responsible to "stretching vertical image". This one says "VK10" and is close to connection from the yoke, could that be it?

Any ideas what to check? At least it has the same tube that my current gaming TV so I can use that as a spare if I don't get this chassis to work...

You're missing vertical deflection. The vertical deflection IC would be a good candidate to check. Pop off the retaining clip and see what model transistor it is.

That big one seems to be S 2000N 9:I so perhaps this one S2000N - NPN 1500V 8A TRS2000 Transistor ? But I still have no clue if that is even responsible of the vertical deflection....

That smaller transistor on the side with another retaining clip was BD241C . Both seems to be some kind of bi-polar transistors.

At least those would be easy to change since they are on the outside of the metal casing.
