I am back at this K7600 with the pincushion issue.

After a capkit, the colors are great!

but the damn pincushion and width are not moving AT ALL still.
Yes I did change the caps on the pincushion board and test the pots off board.

The Width coil also doesn't change anything.

am I at the "let's change the film capacitors" stage ? I listed them as
c718 PPS122G 1600V 1200PF 1.6KV
C719 PP224J 400V 0.22 400V
C721 PPS122G 1600V 1200PF 1.6KV ( idem C718 )
C722 PP564J 200V 0.56 400V
C723 PP6602G 1600V 6000PF 1.6KV can't find it. Is 6200 ok?! I need to recheck what up and down does on the PF
C724 PP682K 630V 6800PF 630KV

You can see "the big curve" here (that's what she said anyway!)

Am I on the right path with the Film capacitors? thanks!

Replaced D708 = FIXED !

... edit: yes there are interference lines, as shown bottom right, probably cause me testing components + cap kit ... this picture hides them better

I have 2 boards and both are now fixed with the replacement of that, often failing?, component ...
the other board doesn't have the lines ... cause I didn't play with it that much... and of course after changing the diode, is now missing red! but that should be an easy fix right?

last post on this:

Figured out what the inteferences lines were:
The black wired broke from this, probably from all my moving it, what do I even call this? the "flyback constant discharger thingy" ?
had to dig a little to make a contact and wow :) nice 39 inch arcade CRT screen now !
