Out of curiosity, I went to the Finnish immigration website to see if I could qualify... I couldn't find any category I could legally move there under.

Was listening to a podcast talk about how complicated and hard the Finnish language is. I've had many friends over the years and even been there once. I still have yet to pick up a single word I can remember. Shit twists your tongue like you won't believe.

Thing is though, you don't actually need Finnish at all. Everyone speaks English. Likely to do with the fact that the vast majority of media consumed is in English. Most kids start learning English in the first grade, so there's that too.

I know a few people that have come from abroad to live here and none of these guys speak a lick of Finnish. Actually wait, I take that back. Curse words. Finnish is a top tier language for cursing. Learn that and you'll fit right in.

I've never seen a bear in my life in Finland. Would be neat to see one.
