FS FREE: Neo Geo CD shell and working CD drive

Free shell and cd drive to a good home in need. Just pay shipping. It’ll go out along with my next customer’s package.

This is leftovers from the one I just bought to harvest a motherboard from (irreversible soldering accident on my main console). The CD drive worked when I tested the whole console prior to taking out the motherboard. I’m keeping the power and controller boards as spares. Will likely never use the cd drive in the unit I have (SD loader installed), but it does work, so I don’t need this one.

Just for transparency:

A good friend of mine had their console break a year ago, and I forgot about it. I am going to give the CD drive to them.

My mistake for not asking them about it before making this post. Should the install not fix their problem, it will be passed on to the next person who needs it for troubleshooting/repair.

^ sorry about that. I don’t have a good box for it ATM so I haven’t been able to pack it and give the other person an accurate shipping quote. Therefore I didn’t update it as gone.
