AFAIK this board is still the only one *not* suitable for the multi, that's why its price has remained quite low.

There's some confusion about it. IF the multi comes in the form of a whole new romboard (including a solution to replicate the GA23 custom chip) then any game would be a good donor.
At this point Gunforce is shunned because conversions require patch wires.
